Product Description

This is a great system for a small business that anticipates major growth. It offers significant improvements in features, capacity and value over  previous NEC DS-2000 system packages.

The DSX-160 control unit is initially equipped to handle 8 lines (but expanded for 16 lines in this package), with up to 16 multi-line digital phones. There are five empty slots available for additional circuit modules. You can expand this system easily to handle up to a maximum of 160 ports (compared to the previous 112 port maximum), which can be different combinations of lines and digital and analog phones, depending on your needs.

Additional power supplies and circuit modules can be added for more phones, more lines, T1, PRI, voice mail, door intercom, etc. One power supply must be installed for each group of 32 digital phones.

The cabinet  is wall-mountable, and has a flip-off cover and removable side panel for easy access. There is a handy translucent panel in the cover that allows you to view system status indicators without removing the cover.

We include six 22-button digital speakerphones with displays that show three lines of text, and you can get more phones now or in the future. Automated Attendant and Caller ID are built-in, and you can easily add voicemail, door intercom and other features.
