DSX-80, DSX-160, DS2000
- All wiring connects to the NEC DSX-80/160 and DS2000 behind the front cover on the cabinet.
- There are 8-wire ("RJ45" type) modular jacks on the circuit boards inside the cabinet, used for connecting phones, lines, door intercoms, etc.
- We STRONGLY recommend that you install surge protectors for the AC power line, and each phone line.
- The connections for lines (NEC calls them "trunks") and phones ("extensions") are shown below:
