Many NEC phones have handset jacks in their bottoms and handset cord retention channels, instead of jacks on their sides. Normal handset cords can be difficult to install in these phones because you'd have to untwist them and stretch them out. We have special handset cords with four-inch straight sections that are easy to install in the channels. These cords will also work in other phones that have similar channels or grooves.
